Do you like the idea of this book? (Teen fantasy)?

Question

My friend is writing a novel and she wants your opinion. I personally like the idea.

So this girl named Lena Shalaar [Sha-Lar lar rhymes with tar] is a princess who feels that royalty is like being imprisoned, and she loathes everything about it. A sudden murder of her entire family [except her sister who is in hiding as well] shocks all, so she decides to change her name and hide in disguise with the commoners. She falls in love and eventually has to reveal her secret, but discovers that she possesses a gift of family magic that may change her forever.

It sounds like it's pretty busy, but I think she could really get something going with it. I've already read some of it, and she's very descriptive.

If it is written well as you say it is then I think the story could end up really good. A great idea...

umm i think if she was ever to get it published it would be a popular type of book...

the plot seems very typical, but she will need more than good description.. the characters should be strong and unique then i guess the book will be good.otherwise it might fall kinda flat.. all the best to her!
