I think it's so cute for a girl, but not spelled Casey. I think Casey is a very masculine spelling of it. I think Kaysi is very feminine and pretty.

Well, to tell you the truth, I can't think of that name without remembering a poem we all learned in elementary school in the 50's:  Definitely it is a boy's name for me, and I have a funny association with it.  Here's the poem, Casey at the Bat.

I think of it as being more of a boys name. I'd like it for a girl if it was a nickname for something like Cassandra.

When I think of the name Casey, I think of a girl. I know it's common for a boy too, but that always seems weird to me. And I also think most other spellings are tacky; Casey's a great name for a girl!
