It reminds me of the play "Strange Bedfellows". Clarissa was one of the lead characters and that name is similar to Clarice.

It's a strong, classic and mature name. It sounds good and I think it's a name that a girl can be proud of. Good choice.

All I hear is Anthony Hopkins calling Clarice in Silence of the Lambs.  So, no I don't like the name.

My Names Clarice. I like the name. Its Unique.Well my mum got it from Silence of the lambs but who cares. She knew i was going to be a girl wen she found out she was pregnant. She was in love with that film. And she named me after it. The Name is special. Its Me! No one i know has it, but yet many people do not know how to spell it or pronounce it. It can get quite annoyin when teachers spell my name lyk "Clarisse" or "Clarise" and its lyk my name is "Clarice". Sometimes people even pronounce it "Cla-RICE". This stuff can annoy me but i get over it. The thing about this name is people think they kno how to say it wen they take a glimpse of it. I say if you choose this name, Make sure you lyk spell it how it is "Klareese,Clareece,Clareice,Clariece" Or Even Better Spell it lyk Clarice just be prepared for the future!
