I think it's a pretty name and you can have Gabbie or Ella as nicknames.  I'd rate it a 7 out of 10.

When she grows up she'll be called 'Gabby' which isn't as nice sounding as 'Gabriella'. About a 4/10.

I love it! I'd rate it a 9...I prefer Gabrielle, though, because Gabriella is pretty fancy! I still love it though. There are so many nicknames, too, like Gabbie, Gab, Ella, Brielle, and Briella.
