Do you like the name Gisele?

I think it's a really pretty name...but one thing I've been wondering about, is what would be a nickname for that? Elle? Gis? haha

This gal i know named gisele gets called 'jiz' alot. I think it's an alright name. There are more elegant names though and they don't usually start with the 'g' sound.

Gisele is not my forst choice, but I am not you.  It sounds very victorian era Germany.  She could be nicked, Gise (gee sa) as many women with that name were in Germany, Elle, Gigi, Gizzy, Jiji, or whatever fits her personality as she grows.

I guess you could use Elle as a nickname for Giselle

Elle names are VERY popular right now.  Gisele DOES stand out from the crowd of Annabelle, Isabelle, Gabrielle and Ellas, though!

I do like it, actually.  I think the only way to say it is Giselle, though, with no nickname.

Love Giselle, spelled with two ls. It's lovely as it is and doesn't need a nickname.

But Gigi or Issy (Izzy) would be cute nicknames.

I know a Giselle. She's sweet.

I personally like "Gisele" better. It sounds exotic. They call the Giselle I know "Jizzy".
