I like Gregory, but it's a boy's name.  It sounds horrible on a girl.  It's too masculine and she will likely be made fun of for that.  It's great for a boy though.  It has a great meaning and it's a classic name.

Sorry....but I don't think it would be an appropriate name for a girl, she will be mistaken for a boy when people see her name written down if they haven't meet her yet, like when she enrolls in school and the teacher makes a list of boys and girls, when you call for appointments and such they will ask questions such as "How old is he"? etc. Seems like it would be constant explaining and could be embarrassing to your daughter.
