  1. No, I don't like it.  It reminds me of 7th Heaven, and I really hated that show.

  2. yes my sister wants to name her baby lucy when she has one at least

  3. I used to hate Lucy, because it seemed generic, common, and boring, I mean, when I was a kid I read Peanuts, and there were girls in cartoons and kids shows called Lucy all the time.

But now that everyone is using really grown up sounding names like Olivia, or Sophia, or they're using boys names and surnames like Payton,  Mckenzie, or Madison, it  seems nice.

I think of it as a classic name now. It's not trendy at all, so I like it.

    I also like Lucia.

  4. I think the name Lucy is a wonderful,  traditional / classic name.

Today people name their children things that sound more like sneezes, than actual names ha ha!

Lucy is a name that you can see grow up with a person.

Lucy is very versatile for a baby, toddler, pre-teen, teen and adult.

I like that it is old fashioned, its a throw back to when names meant something. It is of Latin origin, and its meaning is "light.

I think its a very precious name.

    I wish you the best!

    xoxo

    Meg

  5. Yes I do.  However, Lucy is a popular name for animals right now and you might want to take this into consideration if you are using the name for a baby girl and not a puppy. :)  Just you know, kids can be mean sometimes.

  6. Name her Lucille but you can call her Lucy for short.

  7. Yes. It's a classic name.

    Beautiful and classic.

  8. I love the name Lucy - because there is a Lucy in my life that I love!!!  She's the only person I know who always has a smile on her face.

  9. Yes, because it's my nickname. It's pretty and girly, while still having the ability to be boyish (Say it's short for a girl named Lucifer Jada).  It's so pretty!!

  10. I really like the name Lucy even if you use it as just Lucy and make that her real name

  11. Yes; it's very soft and sweet.

I would actually prefer Lucille or Lucinda though, just because it looks more professional on a resume.  Also, if she doesn't like the nickname Lucy then she can choose her own nickname.  The only Lucille I've ever known actually didn't like the nickname Lucy, so she went by Cille.

Edit: Perhaps that's true, but Lucy does seem like more of a nickname now.  I still think Lucille or Lucinda would be so much better.
