It's a great name with two awesome nicks: Millie and Dewey! I've heard girls with this name though are most likely to get diaper rash, their skin tends to turn brown or green and flake off (keep this in mind).

Have you considered Hamartia or Alexia for a girl. Both have wonderful meanings. Just don't teach either kid to read.

I prefer the more Biological names: i.e., Sporia, Hyphae, Candida, etc.  Mildew is nice, but a bit unconventional.  Besides, in my culture, it means "urine toes"  (loose translation)
