Do you like the name Stella?

Question

I was just wondering since this girl posed this same question last week, saying her name was Stella and how glad she was for her name, and so thankful she wasn't lost in a sea of "Lauras, Laurens, and Stephanies." I think the name sucks, what do you think?

Yes I like the name Stella.  Of course if you have seen Street Car Named Desire (the movie)  you will forever associate the name Stella with Marlon Brando and his torn T shirt.

BTW  I read someplace and I suspect it is true that people who like their names like themselves.

i absolutely hate that name. idk y tori spelling just named her daughter that. sorry but i think it's so ugly. and my name is stephanie and idk a lot of other stephanies!!

I think it is very pretty! But there is nothing wrong with Lauras,Laurens  and stephanies! Thoses names are timeless! I love them... But i like Stella too its very pretty!

I really love the name Stella. I was lifeguard at a movie director's little girl's birthday party and as it was too cold for them to swim, I patrolled the jumping castle, and there was this little georgeous blonde girl with curly hair named Stella, that's probably the first time I've heard the name and I just fell in love with it then and there.

sorry I dont like any of the names listed. Not Laura, Lauren, Stephanie, or Stella.

And before you get bent cuz Laura is your name, know this... I don't like my name either.

I don't like the name Stella.  It reminds me of beer.  Laura is much better.

I think it's an ok  name. But i wouldn't name my child Stella.

I actually dont like Stella at all, it reminds me too much of thebeer, stella artois, which is nicknamed "wifebeater" and who would want their kids name to be linked with that!

Stella's a good name for a girl, it means 'star' and it's miles better than all that Mackenzie-Danni-Ashleigh cack which is really common.
