I like Whitney Xenia.  There are thousands of other Whitneys besides Whitney Houston and I think it is a great name.  Xenia is the Greek concept of hospitality, or generosity and courtesy shown to those who are far from home.  What an interesting name, I like it.  Don't avoid it due to Xena the Warrior Princess, that would be a shame.  Another option if you like it is Zenia, Zenias are beautiful flowers.

    Hope this helped and if you love Whitney Zenia, don't worry whether "they" like it or not.  It is a perfectly fine name, and very beautiful at that.

  4. I think its really beautiful and different! Go for it! I think the Xenia part is very unique and adds a lot of interest to the name.

  5. I really think its pretty, and different, and I'm sure its one of a kind like it should be, because child is one of a kind! Whitney sounds petite, fragile, and Xenia sounds like she would be stronger,so yes I like the name because it will equal out the young wearing it!

  6. Not at all, sorry. Whitney Houston (who everyone will automatically think of) is not the best role model or namesake for a child. And Xenia reminds me of Xenophobia.

    I like that you are trying to come up with something a little different, but I think you should try out some different combinations yet!

    "Whitney" reminds me of "Whitney Huston" the singer that traded a successful singing career for drugs and a good for nothing low-life husband...what a loser.

    "Xenia" reminds me the TV show "Xena: Princess Warrior" one of the worst and lamest show in hystory
