  1. If you spell Phillip the right right I'd love your name

  2. Nope

  3. The y does not so much make the name 'unique' as it draws attention to the latter part of it, i.e. the lip. Thus "Phylip" in print looks like a birth defect (see: harelip).

I know that names do not necessarily have set in stone spellings like common words, but just because you swap a few vowels around and wedge a few extra consonants in there, it doesn't make it a valid spelling--just an alphabetical hodgepodge.

H.K.'s right: Alexander Philip is a dignified name for a child that will someday be an adult and, if he's lucky, not stuck explaining how to spell his name every time he gives it.

  4. itsssssss sssssssooooooooooo soooo soooooo cute name....realllyy cute....

  5. Sorry no.

  6. New age name, I like it. Very unique.

  7. i really like that... i usually spell it phillip but its different.

  8. I like the name Xander, not so much Phylip though . It's not the spelling that bothers me I've just never been fond of the name itself .

  9. It sounds like a plant to me.

    Tulip, hibiscus, xanderphylip...

Or perhaps a plant function or structure.

    Photosynthesis, cotlydon, xanderphylip...

It just makes me think of plants.

  10. why the h**l do people pick a nice name and then try to spell it as weirdly as they can.

its not cute its annoying, especially for the person who every single day of their life has to go "no its actualy p-h-y-l-i-p"

why not just go with alexander phillip. then u can call him xander for short.

  11. no xander is a nick name
