I like it  spelled sophisticatedly --- Rain --- just what it is.  I also like Rhema which is biblical.  Also remember that when we name a child we are speaking life into that child --- make sure the name means something good.  Ensure you know what Rain means --- do you want to speak this into your child's life?  Each time you call her you will be speaking whatever her name is in  your life.

My daughter is Tamara --- "palm tree" --- a palm tree is strong rooted.   Each time I call her by my name I am speaking strength into her -- physically; mentally and spiritually.

No. Rain is okay, not my style, but misspelling a common word looks illiterate. It's like Jersey vs. Jurzee, Sky vs. Skyye, Faith vs. Faythe,  or Destiny vs. Deztynee. It looks really, really, really dumb to misspell a word that exists in the dictionary. Rain is fine, Rayne is absolutely not!

I don't really like the name because it sounds too eccentric. If you like the sound of that try Rayna. It means queen and it sounds kinda the same.
