  1. Nay - but not because I envision it represents a particular race or class.  (That should never be a factor - a name is a name.)

  2. I like it a lot, but I think it's ridiculous to try to make a name match a nationality, race, career, appearance or personality.

  3. awww i think of Darla from the little rascals she was so adorable.. she had dark hair and fair skin  and was  really cute..............

  4. NO, the name makes me think of a bleach blond actress wannabe that ends up waiting tables as she has no talent and is not pretty enough to get by on her looks... sorry

  5. I don't care for the name. i won't put a "race" on her because that's ridiculous. names can cross races.

career....school teacher, bank teller, bus driver, lawyer..etc.

your name doesn't set your career path..your character does.

  6. Darla is ok, reminds me of a movie star.

  7. It's darling!  In my culture, names have meaning:

It means "dear, loved one".  That's nice.

  8. I'm not crazy about it. It seems to sound too "abrupt" for lack of a better word.

  9. Oh yes my darling Darla!

  10. I dont think names have a race, unless they're just flat out ghetto. And Darla isnt one of those names. So she can be black/white/hispanic/asian/anything.

    You cant really tell.

  11. hate it

  12. I won't reply for her race or career cause you can't base a personality on a name. But the name Darla sounds very classy and feminine. I like it.
