Do you like the name "Devon" for a girl?

I really like it, and we haven't seen many other girls names that we really like. My friend says if she's a tomboy she'll get made fun of or seem dikey. But I really like it. What do you think? Thanks!!

  1. Devon is an accepted unisex name, and I think there is a very low chance your daughter will be made fun of for it. Devon is usually considered to be more feminine than Devin, which is the original masculine spelling. I agree with this, I think the O does feminize the look of the name.

It's a very cute name, modern without being overly trendy, and it will age well.

I would suggest paring it with a classic, short, simple, and feminine middle name:

Devon Rose, Devon Marie, Devon Rae, Devon Kate, Devon Alice, Devon Louise.

  2. Devon's perfect for a little girl. It's the feminized spelling of the guy's name Devin, and it's beautiful.

The trick is to pair it up with a feminine middle name.

I love Devon Rose. Devon Alice, Devon Averie, Devin Rea, Devin Marie, and Devin Isabel are some suggestions.

It's a beautiful name, and all that really matters is that it's perfect for YOU. So go for it!
