Muach prefer the original risk. The newer risks are too confusing.

I have the futuristic risk, and I don't get it at all, there are leaders and moon bases...

The older version coupled the strategy of the game with the luck of the roll. New version leaves too many options and reduces the ability to control things you wind up scrambling around a lot. Old is the way to go

I prefer the original version of most games, including Risk, though that is not a game I play much.
