  1. WHY??? thats what i think it is awful.please do not take a traditional, popular common name and give it some made up misspelling in the attempt to be unique!!!

can you say redneckalicious??? it is a bad idea really!!!

keep it real and keep it simple.your kid doesnt want a name that will be made fun of cause it looks like her mom couldnt read or write!!! sorry but it is true.

Katie Mae if you must but it is very common ,misspelling it does not make it any less common either!

  2. It's ok.  I love the name Mae but I prefer to spell it May.

  3. i love the name mae and the spelling!!! go for it as long as you like it nothing else matters!

i like kayte also why dnt you try kaytie? i like !!

  4. Kayte? No I don't know how to pronounce it now.

Are you meaning Katie like i presume? or Kate?

Can't you just spell it normally.

    I like Mae though.

  5. sorry no

    it doesnt flow either

katie mae - flows better  or how about

    katheryn mae -

then you call call her katie mae for short and it sounds much more classy, it also suits an adult as well as a child, kaite mae sounds cute for a little kid but not for a grown up.

  6. It sound chinese, unless your chinese then thats ok but that would be like if i had a son and i called him ping or wong that just wouldnt be right

  7. Cassidy Mae,

  8. I like how it's spelled different from others. I have a cousin who's name is katie but they spell it CaDee. And when you take that same old name and add a twist like that it makes it cool and unique.

  9. No, please.

I can't even tell if that's supposed to be Kate-May or Katie-May. Though I like neither, so......

  10. No, people will think you are illiterate and did not know how to spell Katie.

  11. its different to how i would spell it, but she's your daughter and if you like it then do it, if she doesn't she can legally change it later in life.

  12. No I don't like it. Katie-mae

  13. I really like the spelling of Mae, but I'm not too sure about Kayte.

The problem I find with that is that I'm not sure whether it's said "Kate" or "Katie". And I think a lot of other people will have the same problem, and that will be frustrating for her later in life (Believe me, I know XD)

I think the name is beautiful, it sounds really nice.

To avoid being too over-the-top with changing the spellings of classic names, I'd just change one of them, eg. Kayte-May or Katie-Mae.

Personally I like them both, but I adore Katie-Mae.

It's a really pretty name though -makes a mental note of it-

    x*x

  14. Yes!! Good luck hun!! xx

  15. Do you mean Katie Mae or Kate Mae-those are cute names.  What you have with the bad spelling and the hyphen is not cute at all.

  16. Yes i like the spelling , The wee name you picked is so beautiful ,I think you couldn't of picked a nicer name i love it.

  17. Kayte-Mae Clampett?

    No thanks.

  18. I prefer Katie rather than Kayte but I love Mae spelt like that.  It's a beautiful name that you've chosen with a unique spelling.

  19. I really like Mae, but sorry I really dont like Kayte? I cant work out if its mean to sound like Kate or Katie?

Katie-Mae looks ok though...adds a bit of difference to an ordinary sweet girl name.

  20. i like it, but it doesnt matter what i think - if you like it thats all that matters.

  21. yes, i love it it's very original.

  22. Kayte-Did

    how stupid

  23. No I prefer the original spellings

    Katy/Katey/Katie

Katy-Mae is a gorgeous name though

10/10 for you chioce of names

    xx

  24. No, Katy or Katie are better.

  25. No, spelling names "unique" only leads to people always mispronouncing her name, never spelling it right, etc...

  26. I like the name, but I don't like the spelling. Sorry!

  27. I think the name is pretty, but I prefer the more standard Kate May. I would also like it even better if it was a nickname for Katherine rather than being used as a name on its own.

Unfortunately, pretty as it is, I can't quite get past the fact that the first thing I think of when I hear it is Cape May, New Jersey. If you don't live in or go to New Jersey very often, though, you probably won't get that from too many people.

  28. Hate the spelling. Like the name.*

  29. Honestly, no .

    Katie-May would be better [:

  30. Bad spelling... keep it normal for the sake of you child.

    Katie-Mae

  31. yes !!! i really like this spelling !!! the name sounds very pretty and girly, pink and frilly !!!
