  1. yes but would Charlie be a nickname or the actual name ? it say Charlotte and Charlie as the nickname.

But I think they're both cool names.

  2. I don't really like Charlie but I love Jamie if you really like Charlie then you could name her Charlotte and Call her Charlie for a nickname.

  3. Charlotte

  4. No, they sound too masculine.  The only Jamie's I have ever met have been boys, and I know Charlie can be short for Charlotte, but I don't like it for a girl.  I don't like it when women try to turn their baby girls into baby boys:(

  5. No they sound more like boy names.

  6. Love them, though for a girl, I would spell Jamie either Jaime or Jayme

  7. I LOVE charlie for a boy...

although, I do know two girls named Charlie...

Jamie, er, I dont like it really... for either boy or girl.

  8. I see the name Charlie, for a girl, on T.V. all the time, (usually a very pretty girl) but never in reality. I would give her a name like Charlotte or Charlene and then nickname her Charlie. Could be cute, but she may be teased. Jamie is pretty and simple, but a little boring.

  9. I see Charlie and I see boy...Jamie is ok

  10. I can see Charlie working as a girls name though only really if it was a nickname. My friend is called Charlotte but we call her Charlie.

Jamie can be used as a female name however im not a big fan as a boys name i really like it lol.

  11. I prefer Charlie over Jamie.

  12. Love Jamie. Its really, really cute. Its softer to say and really nice.

  13. Can't say I like either name, they're both predominantly boys names and not very good ones at that, and they're a bit bland

  14. Not really - sorry

My name is Jaimie and i absolutely hate it

  15. Eh...does nothing, why not Charla or Sharla or Jamie-Lynne, Britney's sister has a nice name

  16. You should choose the name for your baby but they are quite like boys names especially Jamie but I like the name Charlie

  17. I dont like them really, think they're too boyish but Charlie can be cute for a little girl if you like it should be all that matters really

  18. My favorite for a little girl is Charie, but i prefer it spelt "Charley"

  19. I think Charlie is really cure and not very common for a girl.  Jamie's ok but it's more popular.

  20. Not as given names, no. Charlie is short for Charlotte, I'm not sure if there is a girls' name that Jamie is short for - it's normally James.

Mostly I don't like names that people expect to be short for something else. Why not use the longer version, and then your child has the option to use something more formal when they're a 40 year old doctor or politician...

  21. yes really like when girls have what are traditional boys names, it shows that there should be no gender barriers in todays 21st century, my girl wore blue and my nephew played with dolls. I am sure u'll have a beautiful healthy girl whatever her name good luck :)

  22. please look out for some uncommon names.

  23. No, they are diminutives of boys' names.

Charlie is OK if she's really Charlotte

Jamie is short for James, you can't call her that. How about the feminine for Jemima, Jem or Jemmie as the diminutive?

  24. I love them

    but

    would name the little girl

    Charlotte and call her Charlie

And for Jamie I would name her

    Jamie-Mae

    xx

  25. Jamie is okay, but I don't like the name Charlie for a girl

  26. i like the name charlie but i would spell it Charley and with jamie i'd put another name to it eg. jamie-lynn x

  27. I like them maybe try and spell them differently though maybe charly or charley  charlee and jamee  i don't know but if you can figure out a more feminine way to spell them people in the future might expect it to be female.

But I love the names for girls regardless!

  28. I like the name Charlie for a girl.

    Not so much Jamie.

  29. Jamie's Lovely.

  30. I like them

    But make them look feminine

    Like Charlee,Charli,Charliee

    Jamiee,Jamee,Jami

    Something like that

  31. I think Charlie is cute for girl but she may want the option of a full name like Charlotte or Charlene for when she is an adult. However Charlie could work for an adult, it's just it sounds a little bit nicknamey. Charley is a cute and more feminine spelling.

Jamie is not my fave but it could work ok for a girl, paired with another name, like Jamie Mae or something like that. It does remind me of Jamie Lynn Spears though but I have met a few other babies called Jamie and it can be very cute.

    Hope this helps! x
