Do you like these photos?

I took them with a Kodak Easyshare, so in my opinion they aren't that good. I like photography, but I have no experience, so if you don't like them I'd like to know where to improve please. But nice constructive criticism please :)

Hello,

Just because all you have is a Kodak Easyshare there is no reasion you can't take great pictures.

You have some good ones and some not as good. But you have a eye for some great shots. Just keep taking them and try different things to see the difference they make. Also you may like to join a group to get help from others that love the same thing. Taking pictures.

Hope I get to see the ones you will take next to show us.

theyre okay, the editing you did to them is good. I think you need to do different angles and lighting. Just keep practising and you'll get better and better:)  Your dog is adorable btw;)

I don't think it matters which camera you have as long as you just keep going you will accomplish your goals! Go for it!

I like the one with the dolls, the blue eyes are very scary! This kind of digital alterations can add loads of depth and atmosphere to an image, try basic highlighting with contrasting greyscale. Red is one of my favourites, have you seen Schindlers List? It's a modern black and white film and the only colour in it is from this little girls coat, its very moving.

Think about your composition, often I am very quick to take a photo and don't think about this. Take some time and think about where each object in your image is in correlation to everything else. The cat in the straw has a great composition, it works really well!

Try not to go overboard on the effects, the fuzzy dream like edges are a little odd, I'm not that keen on them. Though others may think they are great. Each to their own.

Photographing something you have lots of interest in will also help you take fantastic pics!

Your dog is gorgeous by the way, very cute. German shepherds have such great natures! Love dogs! :)

Keep up the good work! Also doing an evening course always helps, my brother did one and his photos are wicked!

I think 'Lane' and 'Sally' last 2) are very good.  'Lane' takes perspective interestingly drawing your eyes to the distance.  This is what a good pic. should do.

'Sally' must have been tricky to take and therefore has a 'rarity' value.

interesting.  Tells a story and asks a question.  (What's the cat stalking?)

'Lane' similarly asks you what's in the distance.

I like looking at peoples photos especially ones of their animals.  They're nice except you need to have the main object in the centre.  You have in some but not in others.  your dogs really nice.
