Micyla is a combo of me and my husbands name - Michael and Lyla.

Is it pronounced like call-in? or cal-in? and if your name is Lyla why does ur screen name say Lilly?

I dont know. It is totally up to you when you choose names. But this is just my humble opinion. Im not a huge fan of the name Callen. I think it is cute how you are trying to combine your names. What about going with like something Michella. Like Liliana Michelle, that is a combination that has both of your names

I like Micyla because it is a little bit of both of you and a really nice way to incorporate that into your child's name. However I don't like Callen. With just a feminine middle name she should have an elegant name to match. Just a thought....

I like the name Micyla but I prefer it spelled Mikayla.. then it would still be a combo of your and your husband's name.. and I would use that as a first name.. because otherwise the two MM's come straight after one another.. I somehow don't like Callen.. I like Micayla or Mikayla but instead of Callen which is really hard to decipher is this a girl's or a boy's name.. I would go for something not too difficult or too exotic as the name Miller is not the kind of surname that really fits with a flamboyant name.. Micayla/Mikayla Kirsty Miller or Mikayla Isabelle Miller, Mikayla Nicole Miller, Mikayla Alicia Miller, Mikayla Jessalyn Miller, Mikayla Avalyn Miller, Mikayla Julie Miller, Mikayla Jasmin Miller...Mikayla Christine or Kirsten Miller

Callen sounds made up; and rather close to the boys' name Collin. If anything I would think of it as masculine rather than feminine. Micyla is also masculine; Mac meaning 'son of'. I do like that it is meaningful; a combination of both you and your husband's names. I would reconsider though.

I think it's a bit much for me as far as there are too many syllables in it and it is hard to pronounce. What about Lilly?

When I read this I thought Micyla was too femine for a boy, because I thought Callen was for a boy! I love the name Callen, but it's too masculine for a girl, sorry.
