its very nice except for the stem or whatever sticking out the left side of the image.  But i like the bokeh effect.

Not bad...a more contrasting background (IMO) would have been better.

I like it.  While I agree that the stem on the left of the frame is a bit distracting and could have been removed in Photoshop, one would then have to ask what was supporting that bloom.  This is a nice use of the f/1.8 lens.  Very nice background.

Hey Nathan...

Beautiful flower and really soft and pastel background.    Looks like you could almost smell the sweet fragrance coming from the delicate orchid.    I really love the pink and white behind the white orchids.  Very pleasant.... Only need to get rid of the stem.
