but anyways, whoever took this did a fairly good job. the shadows aren't so bad, but usually those want to be avoided. but this is a pretty good shot!

Aside from your being very pretty, it's sharp ( in focus ), well exposed and well lit. The key to good portraiture is keeping it simple, and let the subject do the talking with their expression.

It is a really nice picture. Next time try to stand a little further away from the wall. It will reduce the shadow. Other than that it is very good.
