I feel like a portion of my life should be spent with other people but too many and i freak out.  ppl are very judgemental and i cant always work them out.

I think i have a problem though - i'm sure it shouldn't be this hard to maintain a conversation

It depends on the people.  I can't stand to be in a room full of gossipers or whiners!  I actually am very content being alone most of the time.

Only when I'm in the mood ... I've been around people enough to be uncomfortable in crowds.

I love to be around people. I have just been to sick with a new virus going around that I have stayed home and tried to get better. Finally getting there so I am going out tonight. :)

Yes. We humans are social animals if we are normal and adjusted. On the other hand, it is a balance between alone time and social time.

When I was younger I did. But the older you get the less it seems to be the case. A young person (18-30) seems to have a need to fulfill some social desire to have as many friends as possible, but when you get older you begin to realize (or at least ponder) whether they're your friends so much or just passers-by on your journey through life.

All the people who I used to be friends with are gone now, and so am I.
