  1. Sushi is absolutely incredible and well worth a try at least once in your lifetime. Although traditionally it is mostly served raw, there are many varieties that exist today that are fully cooked.

    Sushi originated in Japan. It is mostly eaten raw in order to appreciate the freshness of the fish meat and it's distinct flavor.

    I love sushi because the taste is one-of-a-kind! A filling meal with less fat than your average burger.

  3. Origin of sushi, it comes from Japan, but neighbouring countries like Korea and Taiwan also make sushi and have their own versions of sushi.

    I love sushi, it's like my favourite food! I am a seafood person, and I love rice, and the presentation is soooooooooo cute! And it is relatively healthy ( some sushi bars put too much sugars in their sushi, when I make them myself, I don't put as much sugar in mine).

  4. I have not eaten SUSHI because there is noting special. I have other preferrences to choose from the eateries.

  5. I love sushi!! I eat it when I need something fresh and light.  The best place is in Norfolk, Virginia called Kyushu.

  7. I like it.  At least, certain kinds like the California Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll.

    It's not exactly unsafe since the people who prepare the sushi use certain vinegars and stuff to clean off the fish if it's raw.

    Sushi is from Japan and literally means "It's sour."..  Probably because of the rice wine vinegar that's mixed into the rice.

  8. I love sushi. It's one of my favorite foods! But I am vegan so I only eat vegetarian sushi and soon wanting to try the avacado. I belive Japan started it all. Yummmyy!

    Just kidding, it's Japanese in orgin.  

    Sushi is sooo good.  But too much of it can get annoying.  I like to diversify my taste in food.

  12. The idea of Sushi used to be a real turn off but after having it in Japan and Australia. I love it. You need to be selective and not go for anything too strong. The supermarket bought stuff is nothing like the real deal.

  13. No. 20% of sushi eaters eventually acquire some type of food-borne illness. That's why most restaurants that serve it have warnings on their labels so then they don't end up getting sued by their customers.

I do it is very good for you.  During  the late 1300's a street vendor in tokyo  was trying to feed the local mob fresh fish. they were on time constraints and the worker started to ball up rice and place the fish  on top so it  was all one  convient unit. the costumers loved it so much they started to ask for it daily. so sushi was born. It spread throughout Japan  yet did not gain popular acceptances in the US until the late 70's when it was real fashionable in NY and Hollywood

  16. sushi is my favorite food ever! i thought i would never like raw fish, but ever since i tried it, i loved it. japan made it.
