I mean-we remember Hitler,he is in the History books-Bad.

Also Florence Nightingale,she was-Good-

Then Why do they say-its 10 years since Lady Diana died-give it a rest- forget her?.

She gave Prince Charles-a heir to the Throne.

She gave England-a Future King.

She did lots of charity work

and we All loved her- so Why forget?.

I think they should put a big Statue of her up in London, and let us all carry on loving her-if thats what we want to do-

After all she was The Peoples Princess.

Love Jo xx

  1. I agree. I was crushed when she died, and if some have a need to forget her then so be it. I on the other hand will never forget... She was beautiful and Charles didn't deserve her!

  2. Diana was a great person. Its sad that her 2 boys lost their mom. I will always remember her beautiful face. She was a great person. I would love to be able to have met her.

  3. I LOVE DIANA!!!

  4. That Angel will never be forgotten ,she was a breath of fresh crisp clean purifying air,to say her name brings to mind all the love that flowed from her heart soul and spirit,God gave us a Angel and we lost her,it hurt the heart of this world and she is loved still,to this day those that she touched with all she did still feel the postitive force in their lives, blessings to you and yours

  5. I remember her daily. She was THE Princess of all Princesses.

  6. She will not be forgotten.  She is too much a part of the history  of this country although I believe there are members of the royal family who would like it if she were never mentioned again.

  7. I'll remember her till the day I die as I believe she brought new life to the royal family!

    Pretty fit as well!

  8. HRH Camilla Duchess of Cornwall could have give HRH Prince Charles a son.

And I dont believe HRH Prince Henry is HRH Prince Charles's son

I didnt love her oh and big statues are for Royalty like HM Queen Victoria Regina Imperatrix(like the Victoria Memorial on The Palace)

  9. You may continue to love Diana if you wish.  I think she harmed the monarchy, acted like a spoiled child, and partially because of her own arrogance and recklessness had more than a little responsibility in her own death.

Diana was a clothes horse, dump that much money and make-up artist talent into nearly any 20ish year old person and they will look good.  She was NOT a raving beauty as some would like to think of her.  Neither was she a dog.  She did charity work at the pleasure of the Palace; it was not her personal organizing or wealth that made her visits to AIDs victims possible.  I think Sir Elton John had a little to do with guiding her, as well.

Diana did not act professionally or Royally often in public.  She and Fergie were so spoiled and uncaring of the monarchy that they both made a farce of it.  Have you ever seen the miserable pictures of Diana at public events when she was pouting like an 8 year old?  It's disgusting.

And, not least, she married into the Royal Family, was in line to be the Queen of England, but chose to sleep around with stable hands and chauffeurs and the like.  I don't think tax money should be used for a statue of  this  Princess.

If the public wants a statue of Diana, then they should start a fund to have one made, and buy the land to put it on.  They (YOU) could do that.  Maybe William will when he is King.

  10. YES, She was a Grand Lady.

  11. THATS A GOOD iDEA.

  12. I think when people say to give it a rest, they mean to allow the poor woman to rest in peace already!

And allow her to take her quiet place in history, leaving behind the tabloid culture that ultimately killed her.  She hated living for the tabloids.  It's about time for them to allow her to let go...She's probably still tortured, walking this earth as a ghost, trying to get past, and not allowed to because they're still hounding her.   Okay, that's a bit dramatic, but, you get my point?

  13. I so agree with you Jo - she was not just beautiful on the outside but she was beautiful on the inside too.  I will never ever forget her and I don't suppose I am alone in this.  There should be a statue put up in her memory as so many people really loved her. x

  14. Yes. I do like to remember her because I was born the same day she died.

  15. i totally agree... and for all the other comments about diana sleeping around, what about her prude of a husband? he never did end it since he married diana.

  16. Good for you. I think she got a raw deal in that divorce, and she was the only good looking one in the bunch. They`ve put up statues to much lesser people than her.

  17. I couldn't ever forget also my sister passed over on the 10th anniversary of Lady Di's death, this year, so it's very very symbolic to me I feel my sister stood in life for the exact same qualities as her, Even though my sister was seriously ill she had dialysis every other day also begged doctors to give her a pacemaker after they told her she had 3 days left (she had an extra 12mnths because of that)  she still spent her time with others, one man who had dialysis same as her was deaf and blind she use to sit and write on his hand so they could communicate and come back full of fun and laughter telling me about a funny story they had shared, honestly she was ill seriously and you'd of never known it if you only saw her spirit, whether this is my own idealism I couldn't careless it keeps me warm at night knowing my sister wasn't royality but she was my princess.x

  23. I couldnt agree more. She was absolutely fabulous. Its a d**n shame how some just want to forget. We need more people in this would with the sort of passion, kindness and goodness that Diana had. That is why the people loved her so. She TRUELY was a Princess.
