Right now after being retired for several years our goal is to spend the money we saved. Unfortunately, our upbringing doesn't allow spending for spending's sake. Fortunately we were able to have increased income during our children's college years so that we didn't dip into the savings and investments to any great degree. Our advice to the young and yippies. Save as much as you can for whatever the future holds. Hopefully, it will be spent in health rather than sickness.

Spending is always fun, but there's no better feeling than having some fat stacks in your wallet.

Save a lot of money so you can buy something you want and have money left over if anything else is needed. Just keep saving and spend on what is necessary.
