I do. I don't consider myself a tree hugger but I do pay attention to the environment and try to do my part. I really like the fanatical huggers though. I admire them. I wish I could be as extreme as some of them are.

This is my ideal question...thank you for asking it.

I wish all of us who care about the enviroment could come together and overtake those people who dont give a care to what happens to OUR planet. They will be the ones who die of not enough oxygen or air so thick with pollution you can't see your hand in front of your face (which will happen if we don't do something =D) SAVE THE TREES, AND ALL THE THINGS THEY GIVE OXYGEN TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok?

  8. my wife is a tree hugger and i really like her. shes always giving me a woody.lol

  9. Well, more than 10years ago now, i lived in Newbury, Berkshire (uk) and there was a huge protest going on there with lots of road protestors (tree huggers). I met loads of really amazing people, really lovely, interesting, talented intelligent, brave etc. (there were a few not so great people too but they were an absolute minority).  Meeting these people from all different walks of life, changed my whole life - i was 27/28years of age then, i am now 39 and still meeting fantastic people who were there that i didnt meet then!

I am truly grateful and ever respectful to all those people who did all the things i was never quite brave enought to do. And so glad i met them.

I was honoured to meet Kate Evans last year - she is only in her mid 20s now but has been around the protest scenes since she was a kid, thanks to her mum.  She is a fantastic cartoonist and is producing her own books on climate change and other eco issues. I heard of her at newbury but never met her until last year. Check out her website if you like serious eco matters written in a humourous way - www.cartoonkate.co.uk

Ive hugged a few trees over the years and planted a few too.

And i have wished many a time i could be as extreme and fanatical as some of them, but accept that we each have a different part to play and mine is a lot more passive!!!

Just remember not to be too general, everyone is an individual, some tree huggers will be nicer than others!

  10. i like them and think they are very brave for doing what they believe in.

if everyone payed attention to them the world may become a better place.

We should listen to these people more, maybe they can help us, eg. global warming problems, etc.

  11. I do but some just take things too far for no apparent reason.
