Do you like volleyball? why or why not?

Personally I do play and I love it but some people think it's not a sport or call it the female version of football what do you think?

It is most definitely a sport, and not just a girl one. People who say that haven't played it or they'd appreciate it, and I know, because my brother thinks that and has no idea how hard we work! What does it have to do with football anyway?!?!

It is definately a sport, and a great 1 2! I love it and hav been playing 4 some time now. It is harder than it looks and boys play 2. It is a fun sport and a great team sport. Every1 plays, no1 is really left out on the court cuz the ball goes everywhere and any1 can save the game!

I dont watch PRO volleyball, but i like watching people my age play volleyball, and i LOVE playing. its so much fun. i started playing the september before last. and i have no idea of why people say its not a sport,because it defenitely IS! if volleyball isnt a sport, than neither is baseball,soccer,football,hockey and all the other sports!!

i love volleyball because its addicting. all of my frineds that have tried out for our team and didnt make still are playing pickup games with me and the team. they love the sport and are tring out next year as well. guys play it too and if anyone calls you a wimp cause you play volleyball, ask them to show you a dive. that will keep their mouthes shut. i just love the sport.

im kind of inbetween... ive played for four years and im pretty good but the high school team is REALLY INTENSE like a ton of running, lifting, conditioning and its not really that much volleyball.  i like volleyball just not the insane work that my school has with it.  i would have to say that watching it is pretty boring i would much rather jump in and play.

i'm starting to get into volleyball. i'm going to try out for my 9th grade team. it looks like fun and a great way to let out anger :). volleyball IS a sport, and a fun one at that.

I love volleyball. I like to play it in the beach or any sand, there is an even better volleyball sport. Mud volleyball; it's great.

i love volleyball! it's my favorite sport to play besides softball. & yes it is a sport. how is it not? if people are going to say cheerleading is a sport then vball most definitely is!

Volleyball is more of a sport than GOLF and Cheerleading ever will be. All sports are similar to one another!

I started playing in the 4th grade and will play it all the way through HighSchool. I also do a lot of other things though...BUT Volleyball is at the top of MY List!!!!! FO SHO!!!!

yes girl i love it i've played it for three years straight. this sport although not many people like it, is a thrill. it's awesome to run around and throw yourself at the ball and getting your knees scraped once in a while.

I LUV VOLLEYBALL!!!! I CANT WAIT 4 NEXT YEAR SO I CAN PLAY AGAIN!!! it is the best sport to play, just boring 2 watch...but it helps w/ ur reflexes and arm strenth.

i LOVE volleyball because it's fun and i am good at it but it can get a little slow sometimes i like softball better but i still like volleyball :p

I absolutely LOVE volleyball. It's so fun to play and it keeps me on my toes. Trust me, its definitely a sport, and its nothing like football. i mean seriously, no tackling or throwing required!
