  1. I like both

  2. RUGBY.....and we won again!!!(A VERY HAPPY WELSHIE).lol

  3. The Thing about football(soccer) is that teams hardly ever score! the final score is about 2-1 normally. That's why I think watching the rugby is much better. You can get into the game and there's lots of exciting ball running, open space trys! I'm from New Zealand so i'm not sure about american football.

  4. Football, I have match of the day on now....

  5. football

  6. FOOTBALL.

  7. No neither of them.

  8. rugby[league]without a doubt.every game is entertaining and your always guaranteed a score from either team

  9. I prefer Cricket

    Greetings from India.

  10. I like both sports.

  11. After watching the respective soccer and rugby matches today it has to be Rugby Union.

  12. Don't like football. But i watch rugby every chance i can!

  13. rugby every time

  14. Either or? I like watching both, cricket as well.

  15. Football is my favourite. I don't subscribe to Sky (I think it's a bloody rip off!) so I listen to a lot of games on the radio. BBC Radio commentary is just superb whatever the sport, Radio 5 Live forever!

  16. American Footballl is the greatest game on God's green Earth. I loved seeing the Patriots lose, even to the Giants

Cowboys rule; wait until next year.

I like watching Rugby but I think of it as more of a participatory sport than a spectator sport.

Rugby is not big at all in the US. There are no Pro teams and even the college teams are small and unimportant compared to American Footbal and Basketball.

To give a personal example; I went to the University of Oklahoma; the school that has dominated College football since WW II, people live and breathe it. But Rugby is different.

I was walking to my car and I paused to watch a team ready to play Rugby. They noticed me standing there and a player approached me and asked if I could play. It seems that one of the members of the Oklahoma State team had gotten ill and they had no replacements. Oklahoma State is second only to Texas as a rival but I said yes and had a blast. We won but both teams went out for beer afterwards.

Compare that to Oklahoma Football. There are at least 80,000 people who attend each game. Many Oklahoma Sooners are signed to multi million dollar NFL contracts and the fans fight each other in a fashion similar to UK Soccer fans.

Rugby was more of a pick up sport.
