Do you like watching tv with your kids?

Question

l like some of them like spongebob, or full house stuff like that. but my 10yr loves hannah montana. i think the shows is ok, but her singing has gotta go lol.sometimes its funny other times its boring. i even took her to the 3d concert in theaters. she was so happy and said don't you think she's the greatest singer? i just smiled and said yea i like her, even though you can tell she sings through her nose.

my daughter loves spongebob and at first i couldn't stand it but then it sorta grew on me and now i even watch it when she's not around lol. i love when my daughter curls up next to me on the couch and watches tv with me. she doesn't really care whats on tv anymore, she just wants to be close to me and spend time with me.

I have a 2 year old... so... i am watching backyardagains and sponge bob and kiddie things, but i rather watch them with him then let him watch alone. I point out things and show him things. he seems to like it more when he is not alone. Right now he is on a Baby Einstine kick... (sorry spelling... its dark and he is sleep or i would pull out the dvd case)

I hate the einstine ones, but he likes it so i sit through them with him and try my best to not pass out.

I would think that it helps them develope or something. I would continue with it. I need some new movies... i know them almost by heart now!

I did all this with my daughter and Britney and now that she is older we have a very good relationship.  I found some of the shows interesting and some of them annoying.

I watch the cartoons w/ the little rugrats. Your kid is just going through a phase, like we did when we were kids, remember?

(she does sing through her nose!)  watching tv with the kids is cool unless it's DORA or DIEGO.  the worst is Ciyou.  (or how ever in the h**l you spell this name)  that kid is so annoying, even if he's just a cartoon!

lol my parents CANT STAND hannah montana (my younger sister is going thru the hannah phase lol) and they pretty much hate watching tv with us cuz they think our shows are so annoying!!! i think so too...all the camp rock and high school musical and hannah montana...MAKE THE SINGING STOPPPPP!!!! ya my parents wont ever let me watch american idol or americas next top model cuz my sister never wants to...all she wants is "OMG HANNAH MONTANA!!!" lol...

Yea i like to watch tv with my 6 year old son. He like like sponge bob frake and josh and all that goo dstuff but lately hes been into my kinda shows to. Ive actually caught myself watching cartoons when hes not here too. its has gown on me . Kinda funny.

I am 18 and i would love it if my dad or mom would sit with me and watch tv but they're too busy. Lately I have been very sad so when they sit with me and spend time with me I become happy because I see that they love me. It is fun for a child to have someone to watch tv with. I don't know how to explain it, but it makes the experience of watching tv a lot more fun. Although you may not like that one show, it is fine. You don't have to sit with her for that one show, but I think it would be great if you just found some time to sit down with her and at least watch some of her shows with her that you do like like full house. I think you already do this so I think you are a good parent. You don't need to worry if you don't watch one show with your child

I have a teenager and make a point of watching what she does......I also take the time to listen to her music as awful as it is sometimes.
