Other members of your favorite bands sing. I do because it gives me a chance to hear how well they sing as opposed to their speaking voice

That was one reason I liked Phish - sooner or later all four members got in on the vocals. It gives some variety to the band's sound.

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I always enjoyed whenever Ringo Starr would sing... He just had this untouched talent. I guess  that would be the right words to describe it..

Yes, I love it when Rodger Waters gets a go but I wish Jimmy Page sang something. Chris Squire has a great backing voice. Rodger Taylor has some great songs too. "I'm in love with my car."

Yes, look at the Beatles, they all sang different songs, but with their own personal flair.
