Do you like your Swiffer Wet Jet?

Question

I am pretty sure these things are useless...I think they just move the muddy dirt around the floor rather than actually clean it up...I will stick to the old sponge, scrub brush, and bucket with pine sol, soft scrub, or clorox!!

Do you feel that yours actually cleans your floor?

No it sucks...that's why it's finding the garbage man next week.

It just sits in the corner.  I have a good mop or I do it on my hands and knees, at least I know it cleans it

I bought one and then got rid of it. I then bought a steam mop (Steam Shark) and have been really happy with it. I think SWJ ads are really misleading in terms of "using dirty water". When you clean up the floor, all of the fluid does not get sucked into the mop head. So essentially, you are still moping with dirty water. Plus once you own one, you have to go back and buy their cleaning fluid and mop heads. Good for them, bad for us. Just another way a company tries to turn us into lifelong customers =/

my mom gave me hers and it left streaks on our laminate flooring...and the replacement cleaning cloths remind me of one huge maxi pad..lol..

i'm stickin with good old vinegar and water

I like PVA mops...hard to find though..bought one at the state fair..then found one made by MR Clean,,,they really really pick up every last drop of moisture.,..will never go back to a regular sponge mop...try one you will like it...they are available on the "as seen on tv type" sites...but a little price there. swifter just pushes dirt around!!
