My sister has 4 children, the youngest 5 months old. His name is Parker. She couldn't really think of anything else she liked at the time....now she says she really doesn't like it, but just goes with it.

  1. I named my son Jayden Zachary. I really like it. But both are really common names now.

  2. I'm sure there are a lot of people that name their kid something and later find a better name.  But really what can you do?  I know there is a lady on here that had twins, and changed her little girls name when she was just a few weeks old.  I guess that would be ok, but I wouldn't do it.

I really like the name Parker.  I like all her kids names.  My daughters name is Sofey.  Just Sofey not Sofia or anything.  I love her name, and it fits her perfect.

  3. I love my childrens names i think they are quite different although many people don't like them..

Harlie Grace - She is 6.

    Aoife  May      Triplets-

Belle Elise      Triplets-  2 Weeks Old.

    Max Teddy      Triplets-

  4. His name is Cameron and 10 years later I still love the name.

  5. I really like my children's names. My daughter's name is Audrey Cathryn. Both are the first names of my Grandmothers. My son's name is Riley Michael. My Husband loved the name Riley and I adored it as well, and Michael is my FIL's first name and my Husband's middle name. Unfortunately after he was born the name just exploded with popularity as a unisex name. So now my dear son will probably be in classes with 4 other Rileys of both genders! But I still really like the name and it fits our little irish guy :).

I like the name Grant. It is a good, solid, and strong name. It suits a little boy and will grow well to fit him as a man. Also, the name's roots are something to be proud of. We find out on Monday whether our baby is a girl or a boy. Right now we have a girl's name that we both love and cannot for the life of us agree on a boy's name. I am afraid of just going with something because it works in the end and regretting it......my fingers are crossed for a girl!

  6. Yes, I like my kids names, lol. Thats why I named them what they are!

She can always still change it by deed pole.

Edit: my husbands name is grant, and it is

    <--------- middle name! (brodie grant.)

  7. that happened to a family member of mine. They couldn't think of a name and didn't even name the baby until a day or two after the baby was actually born!! That is why you should plan way ahead of time to make sure you pick a name you like lol! My kids names were picked out when I was still in my 2nd trimester. I like their names but of course I hear new names and like them but I still like my kids names and am happy with them.

  8. my friends last name is parker .... its not rly a first name but yea i like my kids first names ... (:

  9. I named my child Hayley

If she was a year or two older, she would be the only Hayley in her class

For some reason the year she was born, the name took off

When I first name her Hayley, I got you almost never hear that name

Know I get, why did you name your child something so common

She started cheer-leading this week, there are two other Hayley's on the team.  I am sure, with different spellings

    Hayley fits my child

The spelling is from Hayley Mills of the parent trap and save by the bell

I am sorry your sister does not like Parker

Does she like his middle name

I am one of many that use my middle name

  10. I'm pleased with my boys' names. Sometimes I think maybe I shouldn't have named them something so common or whatever but I like them. Maybe your sis could come up with a nickname that she likes for him. Or go by his middle name.

  11. Oh I like the name Parker!  It's cute.  My son's name is Cavin James.  I love the name because he's named after my dad Kevin and its unique.  I do wish we would have spelled it with a K though. We didn't because I thought I'd call him CJ, but I don't lol.  I call him Cav.

  12. Ryder and Parker are BOTH terrible names!  Ryder just screams "sexual" to me.  Parker....wtf?  Zian is okay.  Emma is boring.

Anyways, to answer your question, no I don't regret naming my daughters what we did.  We thought long and hard about names, from the day we found out I was pregnant to the day they were born.  The names we chose are special to us.  They aren't trendy, popular, overused, or a bunch of letters thrown together in a vain attempt to be "unique."

  13. No I am happy with what I called my 4 children

    James

    Joanna

    Ryan

    and

    Rachel

Tell your sister I think Parker is a cute name for a little boy and will still sound good when he is an adult

Could she not find a little nick-name for him

I used to call Rachel , "Pooch" and it stuck for a few years

    xx

  14. My daughter's name is Cassidy, it was the only name we really agreed on, I like it, it's not common where we live and it means clever and curly headed of which she is both (though we didnt know the meaning at the time hehe). And I call her Cassie most of the time anyway. Finding a name and agreeing on it for baby number 2 is proving to be much harder...

  15. My sons name is Bradly and I love it.  I was really into sublime when I named him. But I still love his name.

  16. And I am the descendant of the Chinese Emperor s**+ Min Li in the Tang Dynasty.

  17. i have 3 kids......Christopher (3) Keyvon (16 months) and Kiara (4 months). Christopher is named after my mother which i was kind of pressured into. I want to change his name to something that starts with a K and something  more original. or at least change the spelling of his name cuz everyone already asks if i spell it with a K.

  18. I really like the name Park. Just Park. Might be a nickname or something but it sounds cool.

  19. i called her Samantha Mowry
