  1. Yes, I like my living environment. I live with my husband and my cat. We did just relocate to a much smaller house to save money, but I think I'm finally used to the change in space. At least I can clean this house alot faster.

Disadvantages of hometown: Well, I'm from Roseburg, Oregon but currently live in another state due to the disadvantages of the town. Basically, there are no jobs for middle class people. If you live there, you're a doctor, attorney, you work at the grocery store, or lumber mill. In addition, vast amounts of retired wealthy people from California have bought much of the available property causing the remaining areas to skyrocket in price.

So, we won't be moving back home anytime soon :(

Hangin on the wall in my house: Lots of pictures of family, some beautiful abstract prints (think-Kadinsky), a gorgeous large scale photograph of Mt. Hood and another of Venice, Italy.

  2. Yes. I love my living environment. It's very open, I live with my boyfriend and my dog. I love coming home to someone.

Charlotte, NC - My hometown can be difficult. I don't think the planning was good for the recent growth with housing, the roads, etc. There are some very bad parts of town. The homeless situation here is pretty substantial. But there are so many great aspects that those are easy to overlook. We have great arts and culture, entertainment, sporting events, etc. We have great restaurants, a nice Uptown area, shopping, etc.

My house has a mixture. In the kitchen we have chinese symbols for happiness and tranquility. In our bedroom we have photos of friends and family and nice floral artwork. And in our Guest Room we have big, fun Fatheads for Dallas, UNC, and UF.

  3. I do like my living environment - it's very comfortable, but i'm desperate for a change of scene (i've been living here for 14 years!). I would much prefer living somewhere a bit more rural so i could have more freedom. I'm a country girl at heart :)

UK, Hampshire, Andover :The disadvantages of my hometown are that i have to travel a long way to school because there aren't any good school in this area. And, it's not near a beach or a mountain... and some days that really pi.sses me off!

Well, in this room (the study) there are several photo's of my mum's horses, and one watercolor of the Clifton suspention Bridge (don't ask!). But around the house there are just more paintings, mostly of horses. In the dining room we have authentic Chinese silk tapestries of pandas and flowers and people in frames. In the stair case we have funny Metatone Tonic adverts and some more watercolours of horses *rolls eyes* Then in my room i have ruff sketches taped to my wall and in my brothers: football; girls; cars etc.
