Littering should automatically result in 5 consecutive days of unpaid community service (as in picking up trash).

uhgg i hate littering everytime i see someone litter i walk over and throw it away.. it was actually really funny one time me and my friend saw someone litter and i walked over picked up the cup and started to throw it away and it was filled with like chewing tobbaco or dip or something it was soooo funny. but no i do not litter lol.

I try not to but it sometimes happen!! peoples don't worry if it is paper or cardboard and such!!! they can decompose but DO NOT LITTER PLASTC!!! it is harmful to animals and us! it can hurt trees to grow and cut or oxogyn!

Not deliberately. I am a bit untidy by not clearing up after some paper work I do. Leaving food scraps around is very unhygienic. It is good to leave a picnic spot the way you would like to find it. Try to be considerate of other's comfort and don't ruin the landscape

I used to pick up trash after my friends littered,

I give them a glare and sometimes a lecture.

littering is SO pointless and rude, considering that the next person will have to feel nasty and annoyed to pick up after the trash that you could've just dropped in the trash can.

NEVER!!!  And when I see people who do - I pick up their trash, walk up to them and say, excuse me I think you dropped this.  Makes me sick when people do that - especially when there is a trash can in plain view!  LAZY!!!  But what can you do?   Ü

No way, I was always taught to leave a place the same, if not cleaner than when you got there, you should always take more trash back if you can if your at a park or river.

Those who say "NEVER" are lying. Everyone has done it, and I can admit to doing it aswell. Usually, it's in a public place with a lot of trash already, but I don't litter in nature.
