The real answer is finding ways to express yourself which do not cause you to be ostracized by your community. It's a delicate balance.

You can live exactly how you wish, but you may be shunned and lonely because of it. This leads to unhappiness.

You can live how society tells you you should, but then your life lacks personal fulfillment.

I live how I want to live I suppose, there are other things I would do of course, although, I have no money to do the things I love, which really holds me back alot.
