no i don't, but i have tons of family who live in Houston, and Galveston

I live 11 miles inland from Surfside Texas.  I was hoping for a little more excitement than this.  I hope we get more rain than what we have so far because we really need it here.  I also like to watch the surfers gather up and surf at the jetties but it doesn't look like that's going to happen this time.  I'm quite irritated right now because yesterday I drank three cups of coffee late afternoon and stayed up all night with no rain, no wind, no nothin.

Currently it is dark, a little lightning, some light showers that seem to be consistent, and slightly windy.  I am however enjoying the temperature change.

I live in Downtown Houston, and got the day off from work (was emailed Monday afternoon to stay home and work remotely... corporate... where they say your safety is our #1 priority blah blah hblah). Thus far I feel as if everything could have continued on uninterrupted. The first few bands of Edouard have passed us already and it feels like just another rainstorm...
