Do you live in the SF Bay Area and are sick of the cost of commuting?

I am. I just wanted to see what my fellow SF Bay Area commuters are doing to offset their misery. Did you turn to biking? BART? Telecommuting? It's just getting ridiculous. Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks.

I don't see why the cost of commuting in the Bay Area should be any higher than anywhere else in California.  In fact, it should be much easier to get a house close to your job in the Bay Area than out in a rural area.  Besides, the Bay Area probably has the best public transportation system west of Chicago.
