Do you lock your doors when you see someone in the street?

Do you lock your doors when you see someone next to your car passing out flyers, asking for money, or selling something?

I generally lock my doors out of habit anyway.  I have never owned a car with power door locks (oh well, maybe some day) and have always been used to getting in and locking.  However, on occasion when I am entering a "bad" part of town, I will look to see if the doors are locked.  This is not so much out of fear as it is just being cautious.

I lock my doors as soon as I get in my car. When I see someone walking close to my car I always double check to make sure they are locked.

my doors automatically lock  on their own so I don't have to. But I will roll the windows up if they are down. You never know what people are capable of these days.
