  1. NO, I respect a player that has love for the game and plays it because its fun. These guys in the booth like Steve Young and Troy Aikman still wish they were out there playing. These guys have to still work even when they retire. Why not do somehting u love

  2. Depends on the palyer.  A guy that gives 100% on  bad teams and gets a chance at the end of his career, I can't knock that (see PJ Brown).  Guys that have beeen on good teams, have won championship(s), or had several solid chances and keep jumping around at the end of their careers (Sam Cassell, Doug Christy, Robert Horry) then no.  There is a difference between chasing a dream and a simple desire to go out on top.

Plus, you can't knock a guy for taking another few million to play an extra year.  Think about the fact that many guys in the league came from middle to low income families and may not have a college degree, I would do the same in their position.  Say what you want about the game, but the NBA is a business.  Teams have no problem with saying it so why should players.

  3. actually no. a real fighter fights until theres fight in him.

  4. Yes its always better when a player leaves when he has something left!!

Not like MJ when he made a fool out of himself!!

  5. Not necessarily, I think when players like Michael Jordan, Moses Malone, or Brett Favre are reluctant to retire and want to keep playing even well after their prime it shows that they love the game. They don't need the money, they just love to play. I have respect for someone that plays for the love of the game as much as the money. That's why I don't think any of those type of players ruin their legacy, you can't take away their accomplishments regardless of whether they retire on top or not.

  6. yes. that way, they wont fools out of themselves.
