  1. I do that too...in both instances.  I have always wondered why...it's instinctive. My husband asks me all the time why I feel the need to look at my snot after blowing my nose...I've always said I don't know, reflex?  Well just the other day I caught him doing the same thing when blowing his nose.  I would like to know the "scientific" answer to this question but funny question.
