  1. Yes I do. Because it is a hockey tradition and I think facial hair on a man is s**y anyway. But as a hockey player myself. Grow the beard respect tradition.

  2. No, because some people can't grow facial hair.  Osgood can't, so he doesn't try.

  3. No.  Some players just aren't big on tradition.

  4. No, and I kinda think Crosby shoulden't have tried.

  5. not really

    a tradition is not a law

  6. nah if i was a guy and an nhl player in the playoffs i dont think id grow one

  7. yes, only if they are able to grow one

  8. it's all personal preference, i'm not gonna look down on somebody just because they don't want to do something... lol i believe in not giving in to peer pressure.

  9. i was just having a conversation with my friend about this and we both agree that we shouldnt ( and also crosby shouldnt try either ) because it is just a superstition for some and others just dont want to because..they dont!  it is their own face.  of course growing a 'playoff beard' does show spirit and stuff but it all comes down to how many goals you put in the net or stop from coming in your net, right .

    GoPensGo !!!!

  10. No.  The islanders started that tradition, so by way of circular logic it's a stupid one.;

  11. Only players that have the ability to grow a full healthy beard and don't. If Sydney Crosby decided he didn't want to grow out his facial hair I wouldn't hold it against him.
