Do you look down on people who like / dislike some particular music? Be honest.?

I have very eclectic taste in music but when someone tells me ( example ) they hate the Beatles, think Creed,Nickelback,The Game is the best band/musician ever, only listen to Rap,Reggaeton or Metal etc. and dismiss great artists as garbage....I can't help but feel this person is ignorant, lacking soul, and somewhat of an a*****e. Everybody has their own taste / opinions but I think sombody that likes just one type and hates the rest is devolved and uncultured.

i have nothing against eminem, 50 cent, tupac

but when chavs liseen to them, it always leads to s*x, drugs, smoking, and trouble

as for u, i think its weird lissenin to the past generation (i mean ur parents "past", not "they r past it" past)

but ultimatly its ur choice, i mean

im a skater/emo (except for tuesdays lol)

and i love tupac-ghetto gospel, cascada - everytym we touch, and s few other dance/trance/pop tunes

that doesnt mean im a bad person?

if u sed no to all of them, then ur not a bad person...

basically, to stop waffling on...lissen to w/e the **** u want to!

It sounds like you're just as judgmental as the people you're talking about.  If someone thinks Creed is the best band ever, that's their right.

I personally don't like music snobs who think that anyone who doesn't know about some obscure basement band (that maybe a %1 of the general population has ever heard of) is uncool.

i agree, but for different reasons

i hate people who dismiss a type of music as "c**p" because of what they see on television, or the stereotypes attatched to people who like that type. people who say "rap is c**p" etc....are just generally ignorant

I agree. I lived all around the world, so I appreciate all types of music. Why limit yourself when there is so much music out there?

I don't really look down on them. But I think they are pretty narrow- minded 'coz they don'tt understand that different people have different tastes. No kind of music is "c**p" or anything.

My two favorite albums are Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Cub Band and the EMINEM Show.
