Do you lose weight from sweating?

My friend said if you stay somewhere warm for ages and you sweat a lot you can actually aid weight loss... true or untrue ?? ?

  1. Yes, it's true.  If you sweat out enough water you will lose water weight.  It's the same thing wrestlers do to make weight before a meet - they dehydrate themselves by sweating in those plastic suits and not taking in any fluids.  

    It's not true fat loss and it can be dangerous if you become too dehydrated.

  2. Not really. You lose water weight this way. The weight returns as soon as you drink water again.
