  1. i love axl rose, i have seen the first time i saw him when i was like 5/6 yrs old watchin him in the vid for welcome to jungle i was left in total aww so i don't care if he's a bit crazy now his work has permanently left its mark on me =)

  2. great songwriter! so so singer! but arrogant & cocky as h**l ! way more cocky than his singing talents!

  3. I love Guns N Roses' music, and that's all that matters to me.

  4. I love his music but he's an egomaniac.

  5. I like his music and stuff. Be seriously ruined the band

  6. i hate primadonna lead singers who think only of themselves and destroy a good thing for everyone...

first off, ITS NOT GUNS 'N' ROSES ANYMORE!!! when only 1 member out of 5 remains, its not the same band and the name needs to be laid to rest...just tour as Axl Rose...stop lying to yourself and everyone else...

secondly, is he a good singer? yes...is he one of the best? personally i'm gonna go with no...after a couple of songs i just can;t stand him anymore...

thirdly, his live performances...yes, he could give a h**l of a show...of course that depended on whether he would even go on stage at all...when he came around the Bay Area last time with the faux-Guns 'n' Roses, he was still acting like an idiot...they weren't scheduled to come on until like 11:30 PM...i had work early the next morning so i said forget it and left, but my girlfriend and her father stayed and later she told me lots of people left before Axl ever stepped on stage...people ain't putting up with it anymore...

lastly, i think Guns 'n' Roses is one of the most overrated bands of all time (along with Nirvana)...if they didn't have "Sweet Child O' Mine" they wouldn't have been nearly as big as they were...for a band who was such the anti-thesis of hair metal they followed the same formula...party rock with a huge power ballad to push you over the top...

  7. They were a great band, but he is a certified idiot - I saw them open for the Rolling Stones and he ruined the whole show by going off on his "n**ers and q**rs" rant - FOR THE SECOND TIME IN TWO DAY!

And there's Slash who's 1/4 black standing right next to him - I'm surprised he didn't get clocked.

If he would just sing and shut the f*ck up he would do great!

  8. he wrote gr8 lyrics and could sing but he ruined the band

  9. I don't like him too much at all (which means I certainly won't be chosen best answer), but I just feel like he screwed a good thing up.  Guns N' Roses were The Rolling Stones and the Aerosmith of the Eighties.  Unless the original line up (not meaning the one before they came to fame), but the one including Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff and Steven would get back together I'm not interested.  Appetite for Destruction was a great album, but It's yet to be matched by any other Guns N' Roses album.  That's why Axl slightly pisses me off because he had a good thing goin'.  I was a fan before Appetite blew up into something huge, before many even knew who they were.
