Im considering a change of scenery to London uk, and i was wondering people views on living a life in london. With it being so grossly overpriced does the overall experience of london make up for this. Also, do you feel that there will be lots of employment in the future or will this decrease.

  1. NO  it's like living in a foreign country nobody speaks English any more. i feel like a stranger in my own home.

  2. I live in London. It's actually quite hard to find a job here because everyone from surrounding places come here to work. If you manage to get a good job here quickly then you are very lucky.

  3. I was born and bred in London.

Just over 3 years ago Imoved to Staffordshire and love it!

I'd never move back down there.

London is expensive, dirty and unfriendly for the most part.

The transport system sucks, and the rush hour lasts all day not just an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening.

Employment will decrease or stay the same as there is only so much you can build in one space to provide jobs.

Move out of London and you'll love the freedom.... oh and my youngest son and I always suffered from Asthma... till I moved. We haven't had one attack since we moved up here!

  4. Yes, I love living in London! Okay, it is very expensive, and very crowded, but there's also a lot to do, to see and to enjoy, if you choose to look at it from a positive point of view.

You have to realise that complaining about London is the rule, but that millions of people live here, so it can't be that bad!

The future of employment-options is unpredictable; apart from economic development (possible positive side-effects of 2012 Olympics) it will also depend on political decisions to be made by the governement.

    Good luck with your decision-making!

  5. I love the fact I DON'T live in London

  6. a friend of mine just moved back from london and took a big pay cut because he hated it so much. apparently it was too noisy, too polluted, too expensive,  there were tons of ppl who couldnt speak english and everywhere was just over crowded and dirty. but its great to visit.

  7. never in a million would i live there
