  1. You cannot do a kindness too soon, because you never know how soon it will be too late.

    Rather than complain about the thorns on roses, be thankful for roses among the thorns.

    The smallest deed is better than the greatest intention.

    Write your sorrows in sand and your blessings in stone.

    There is little joy in owning anything that is not shared.

    The best vitamin in making friends - B1.

    Some people never lose their beauty; they merely more it from their faces into their hearts.

    Bending down to lift up another is good exercise for the heart.

    To multiply your joy, count your blessings

  2. --->"if sense were common then everyone would have it"

    that's my favorite and seems to be most relevant.  google "quotes" there are lots of fun websites!

    --->"believe in those seeking the truth, doubt those who find it"

  3. Most quotes I hear are really cheesy, but there are some that are really inspiring.

    These are a few of my favorites:

    You are who you are because you choose to be

    If you do something with the same results, try a different approach (It's actually catchier than this, but I cant remember, so that's just the jist)

  4. "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.' We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." Marianne Williamson

  5. Don't be afraid to try something new.

    An amateur built the Ark.

    Professionals built the Titanic.

  6. Here is my favorite:

    Desiderata

    Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,

    and remember what peace there may be in silence.

    As far as possible, without surrender,

    be on good terms with all persons.

    Speak your truth quietly and clearly;

    and listen to others,

    even to the dull and the ignorant;

    they too have their story.

    Avoid loud and aggressive persons;

    they are vexatious to the spirit.

    If you compare yourself with others,

    you may become vain or bitter,

    for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

    Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

    Keep interested in your own career, however humble;

    it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

    Exercise caution in your business affairs,

    for the world is full of trickery.

    But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;

    many persons strive for high ideals,

    and everywhere life is full of heroism.

    Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection.

    Neither be cynical about love,

    for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,

    it is as perennial as the grass.

    Take kindly the counsel of the years,

    gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

    Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.

    But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.

    Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

    Beyond a wholesome discipline,

    be gentle with yourself.

    You are a child of the universe

    no less than the trees and the stars;

    you have a right to be here.

    And whether or not it is clear to you,

    no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

    Therefore be at peace with God,

    whatever you conceive Him to be.

    And whatever your labors and aspirations,

    in the noisy confusion of life,

    keep peace in your soul.

    With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,

    it is still a beautiful world.

    Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
