I started out being fascinated by Henry VIII.  Wanted to find out the motivations for his actions toward his wives, and end up fascinated by the whole family.

The Tudor dynasty is certainly one that can hold your attention! The politics of the time, and the ways in which each Sovereign bent the existing laws to their whim is amazing.  The Tudor&#039;s changed the course of English history forever, but that of the world.  Their laws, their &quot;Church of England&quot;, all affected large numbers of other countries through alliances and wars!

Yes, I especially loved the way people were tortured and killed for their religious beliefs back then.

Oh my god! I thought I was the only one who loved Tudorian history! I&#039;ve been studying the Tudors since I was 12 (I&#039;m now 14) Aren&#039;t they just so fascinating? My favorite Tudorian queen is Mary I ( it was so tragic) and for Elizabethean, Elizabeth of course, she was so amazing. Thanks for posting
