Do you love the smell of asian foods?

As well as the taste, I love the smell given off by Chinese, Japanese, Malyasian, Indonesian, Thai, Indian, Vietnamese etc foods. The aromas given off by these delightful cuisines give me fond memories of Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali and Malaysia. Are you the same?

Yes, some of them. I like the smell of Chinese , Japanese, Thai  food especially the way the Chinese fry the garlic with spring onion and prawn. But I don' t much like the smell of the Indian curry which is a bit too strong for me.

Yes.  I am unfortunate enough to have my house in between greeks and vietmanese.  And it sure does smell alot better than lasangne!

Yup- it makes me hungry when I smell their food...I love Thai food specially the panang curry--the smell of lemon grass is so lovely......

Yeah sometimes, I don't like the smell of a stir fry but I like the smell of spare ribs and chinese esp.

Memories of  Thailand, Singapore, Bali, Vietnam, China apart from the stench of street vendors cooking anything that drew breath the only other thing that springs to mind is COCKROACHES.

I have travelled the world many times and nothing beats the smell of vinegar on CHIPS

Eww, no way! Especially Indian food! Too many spices, it smells really gross and I'm not into Chinese smells either, although Chinese isn't bad.

When it's cooked of course delightful but while they prepare it makes me cough. I live in Thailand and when my neighbours cook/fry it smells rather strange.

Yes I love the smell of Indian food cooking. I cook it at home a lot and whenever I start frying onions and cumin seeds together the rest of my flatmates suddenly appear out of their rooms and start hanging around in the kitchen - fried potatoes and onions with turmeric and cumin seeds - deelicious!
