I've always lived in Tampa and I like it but I often ponder what growing up in a smaller town would have been like. I think they are great for kids, but then you hear about a lot of young people hating it and wanting out. I've also dreamed a lot about living on a farm because I love animals, but it's so isolated. Do you live in the big city, a little town or out in the middle of nowhere? Do you love it or hate it?

  1. I live in 2 places right now, the suburbs and a city.

I don't care for either 'cause I don't really like living with people. The city is a bit better because at least there is stuff to do whereas in the suburbs I'm with people and there's nothing to do.

  2. I have lived in towns from populations of 1000 to Houston and they both have their strengths and weaknesses. For children, small towns offer safety, independence, and a more outdoor lifestyle. For teens, it begins to feel limiting and you really want to leave and go to a bigger place. Big cities, such as Houston, are great for adults in their prime earning years because of the jobs, restaurants, entertainment and educational opportunities. It is a mixed bag for teens; it all depends on your socio-economic status. If you are well off, a teen will be happier in a big city. If not, you can be subjected to some pretty bad schools and high crime. Of course, the negative of Houston, is the traffic and long distances you have to drive.

  3. I live in bradenton FL right now and I hate it.  Too many old people, everyone is standoffish and rude, and the only culture is one of drugs and wasting time.  I long for a home where I feel community and so I'm gonna move real soon.
