  1. When dirt or mud gets on the ball, it can alter the flight path and the roll depending on how much is on it.  This can negatively impact the score.  As a caddie, I have seen people not clean their ball and some mud they had on it made it roll away from the hole and made them miss the putt.  If I were you, I would definitely wash the ball on every green.

  2. of course... afterall who wants to play with dirty balls?

  3. Why yes.... I never know if my balls will end up in someone's face or not....

golf can be a dirty sport as it is you know? ;)

  4. yup..before and after using them..cause nobody likes dirty balls..lol

  5. Yes but I always have the caddie clean them which is why I always ask for one of the girl caddies at my club.

  6. Yea. Makes it easier for you and other players to see the ball. Especially when it comes to searching for it. Thats why they have the ball cleaners at every hole. Why wouldnt you want to clean them?

  7. I moisturize my balls morning and afternoon. becuz,  Nylon pantyhose  dries them out.

  8. I don't have my own balls, I have to borrow them if I want to play with them.

  9. Yes, I dip them somewhere warm and soft.

  10. Never!!! I let them get so green  that I have a tough time finding them when they are in the middle of a fairway and an even harder time when they are in the rough. There are some questions that deserve responses which the Yahoo Police would find offensive. This question definitely deserves one of those responses. " Do you make sure your balls are clean!!!!" Good God, Man. You are wasting your time.

  11. yes, after every hole.

  12. Yes, I clean my balls...and my urologist thanks me as well..and so does Jesse Jackson...

    Signed...BHO

  13. Reasonably clean, definitely no mud, or anything that may alter my ball flight, or roll.

  14. I clean my ball and club head. I have a towel dangling off my golf bag for that.

When I look at the ball I am about to hit, if there is something out of place about it, it may distract me during the swing, so best to clean it before starting each tee
